    Must see local markets:
    Next to the outlets, it is also great fun browsing through the wares for sale at the local
    markets, below two of the best.

    Macerata, every Wednesday morning. Great for cheap shoes, brand name clothing
    (seconds or samples), fun items, food.

    Civitanova, every Saturday morning. Great for cheap shoes, designer clothing
    (seconds or samples), fun items, food. Great Hermes Birkin style bags, tell Paolo Michelle
    sent you and he will give you a good deal. He has a stall on the piazza right in front of the
    town hall.

    Events:

    There is always something on in the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, have a look at their
    website (which is available in English) by clicking here.
    In summer go to the Sferisterio di Macerata, for some al fresco opera, it's magic!
